Dear Readers,
I'm back! In school! Yeah, that seems to be the motivation to dress all artsy. Particularly the new scenery I'm taking pictures in. So here is my first day of school outfit:
Please don't critically analyze this next picture seeing as there is indeed caution tape floating around and I'm in a totally forced pose.
Here is my long-anticipated "Starry Eyed" outfit. I'll be honest, I mostly wanted to do the inverted challenge for this song alone. Can you blame me!?! Ellie Goulding has a great fashion sense and her music is so inspiring as well! It's this electronica-romantic style that makes the future not so robotic-sounding or stiff. So that's what I did in regards to this outfit, sparkly silvers and vintage pieces for a romantic hipster marriage. Please note I am also sporting my "starry" earrings, a personal favorite that I am suprised that I get much use out of. The rest of the outfit was intended to look like the sky and the stars. Blouse and Skirt, Buffalo Exchange Leather Jacket, Forever 21 Necklace, AE (gift) Earrings, Icing The Rest: Starry Eyed - Ellie Goulding White Sky - Vampire Weekend Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop - Landon Pigg Electric Twist - A Fine Frenzy What You Waiting For - Gwen Stefani (clean version...

So I chose a palette of Grays, blues, blacks, and silver to represent the various colors a night sky can carry and things included in a night scene: textured leaf tights to show the silhouette of trees under the moon at night, a herringbone pencil skirt that looks like stars in the night sky, a black velvetty scarf for the darkest part of the night, and a blue for the various shades of blue from dusk to dawn. This has been one of my most favorite outfits I have produced this year because I believe it fulfills the goal of my style blog and desire in taste: to c...
This one is "It's Not Unusual" covered by Glee Cast , I was inspired by the dapper, classy fashion of Blaine's character so I kept it basic with some gender neutral classic loafers and ray-bans and decided to go with the peppiness of the song with yellow and rolled up skinny jeans. I kept trying to add things: ties, vests, blazers, and they just were not working! So I decided today that less was more. Yellow shirt, vintage Camisole, Downeast Basics Jeans, American Eagle Glasses, gift Loafers, Last Chance Starry Eyed - Ellie Goulding White Sky - Vampire Weekend Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop - Landon Pigg Electric Twist - A Fine Frenzy What You Waiting For - Gwen Stefani (clean version) It's Not Unusual - Glee Cast She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - Coldplay Big Black Horse and The Cherry Tree - KT Tunstall My Man My Moon - Feist (If You are Wondering if I Want you To) I Want You To - Weez...
