Yeah He was Beautiful, But He Didn't Mean A Thing to Me

I'm playing on more poses since I have to work with new angles and a new setting, I get so caught up on posing I forget sometimes what my face is doing so I laugh when I have a blank expression on my face. Oh the joys of attempting artsy fashion pictures.



I made a play list full of my general favorites...classic rock, Indie rock, and alternative and then I realized that I needed to get dressed. So I got inspired by my music today I suppose.

Death Cab was a good motivator this time, so I dedicated the title of this picture to one of their songs...like I do every now and then.



I kind of scare myself in the above picture. :S

Here is my long-anticipated "Starry Eyed" outfit. I'll be honest, I mostly wanted to do the inverted challenge for this song alone. Can you blame me!?! Ellie Goulding has a great fashion sense and her music is so inspiring as well! It's this electronica-romantic style that makes the future not so robotic-sounding or stiff. So that's what I did in regards to this outfit, sparkly silvers and vintage pieces for a romantic hipster marriage.  Please note I am also sporting my "starry" earrings, a personal favorite that I am suprised that I get much use out of. Music Challenge: "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele

This time I chose to do "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele . If Pinterest hasn't taught me anything, it's that Adele has a look all of her own. After Googling up her fashion taste, I found that she was a big fan of three things: lacy black dresses with the occasional colored overcoat and sparkly earrings, big luscious hair, and a soft cat-eyeliner with gold/brown eyeshadow. So that's what I did....sort of. My hair can't stay that voluptuous for that long and maybe I need a liquid eyeliner to make my cat-eye stay and to leave an impact. I have to admit I felt really uncomfortable putting on so much black but I got a lot of compliments that day (live in a small-college town full of Conservatives in the middle of winter, go figure). Music Playlist Challenge Pt. 2: "It's Not Unusual" -Glee Cast

This one is "It's Not Unusual" covered by Glee Cast , I was inspired by the dapper, classy fashion of Blaine's character so I kept it basic with some gender neutral classic loafers and ray-bans and decided to go with the peppiness of the song with yellow and rolled up skinny jeans. I kept trying to add things: ties, vests, blazers, and they just were not working! So I decided today that less was more.
