The Ballad of the Blonde

It was the weekend so I pulled out the jeans and sneakers and went fairly minimalist with the look once again. I chose to let the colors in my outfit pop more, I love the mint and red combo!

This outfit has made serial appearances on my blog. If I learned anything, I missed being able to find a belt to throw on it to pull it all together (hobo-dom), it looked a little too baggy in my opinion. But it was super comfy!

The 30 for 30 challenge goes on! I had fun playing with light neutrals and adding just a slight pop of color with my favorite statement necklace and some girly shoes. Oh, and I didn't blow-dry my hair today, it went super flat, and speaking of flat, I also miss an ironing board as I am somewhat a hobo right now, but no worries, life is still fabulous.

They don't put a black pencil skirt on every single "classics you should own" for no good reason. Mine has proved the test of time over and over. Definitely go higher quality and better fit when you pick this guy out! This one was on sale at Banana Republic and it's been amazing.

If you will recall I am now taking on the "30 for 30" remix style challenge. Here's one of my first outfits that I produced out of my suitcase. After taking a good look at my camera I think it's time to go back to the drawing board and re-teach myself how to take pictures as well as give it a good cleaning. That's right, I'm joining the bandwagon. I felt this was a great time to do the 30 for 30 challenge seeing as I'm going through a transitioning period in college where I'm moving from an apartment to a condo! Well, in between that I will be somewhat-a hobo and living out of my suitcase so I figured this would be an excellent opportunity to make the most out of 30 pieces of clothing for 30 days. Not to mention I believe I am a champion at purchasing things for versatility. So here we go, this will validate my wardrobe I hope! I threw on the 50's dress my mom completely reconstructed for a vintage-style dance which I co-hosted. It was a blast! I enjoyed dancing and doing my hair and all that jazz.
