The Ballad of the Blonde

So I dressed up as 80s Punk Rock Star Blondie.... I thought it was quite easy seeing as she looks just like me.... :P And here's some in color for your enjoyment :) Happy Halloween!

Thank you mother (and sister) for the new clothes, it was getting just a bit monotonous picking clothes out.

This outfit reminded me of Dashboard Confessional for some reason, I think it's because Chris Carabba in one of his music videos is wearing a double breasted black jacket and it was kind of cold outside both in his video. Not to mention I suddenly got DC's music stuck in my head that day. So cheers to an old favorite.

I don't know why, but I felt very amazing in this outfit and had a extra boost of confidence from it. I really really liked this outfit - probably because I felt like this one truly captured the essence of me is probably why. Also, I got an A on a midterm this day too - maybe the confidence rubbed off on my academics? Maybe it had some association with the outfit...

So I was really lazy in this picture and my hem line needs to go down half an inch because my slip peeked out! Should've just pulled my skirt down. Gah, embarrassing. XD Oh well, I liked this outfit otherwise.

Moccasin knee-high boots, I wanted a pair for three years now and I finally get to pull these new ones out of the closet and wear for the first time since the weather decided to drop thirty degrees in a day. The outfit's inspiration came from Iron & Wine's romantic little number.
